Create a celebration with art from the heart!
Time to celebrate love with a Valentine’s Day party from the heart! Have a party for 2 with your sweetheart or make it a special celebration shared with family and friends!
The free Valentine’s Day party printables at the end of this post were designed to help you easily create a festive Valentine’s Day celebration. Just print, cut, fold and fill with sweets and treats!
The Valentine’s Day party printables include candy and cookie holders, tags for gift bags, cupcake toppers and an overall heart pattern print.
The heart pattern print can be used to wrap a small gift, or wrap a strip of the print around an empty tin can from your pantry to make a little flower vase or a sweet lollipop holder as pictured. For the lollipop holder place a small styrofoam ball in the bottom of the can and poke the lollipops into the ball. Make sure there are no sharp edges around the top.
An inexpensive white gift bag can be made sweeter for giving Valentine’s Day gifts and treats! I cut out one of the tags from the gift tag printable and glued it to the front of the bag. Or you could simply tie the Have a Sweet Day gift tag onto white, pink, red or kraft paper bags. Tuck in tissue, tie on a pretty ribbon and share a gift from the heart!
Everyone loves homemade goodies and my sweetheart loves sugar cookies, so I always make his favorites for Valentine’s Day. I’m not much of a cookie decorator but it’s the thought that counts and imperfections still taste good!
After the base coat of royal icing dried, I used a paintbrush and red gel icing color thinned with a little water to paint stripes on some of the cookies.
And I used little alphabet stamps with the red gel to stamp LOVE on several of them. A fun option would be to personalize cookies by stamping the recipient’s name on them. I found out the hard way that the letters would plug if the stamp had too much gel color on it, so I ate several cookies decorated with unrecognizable words!
I froze extra unfrosted cookies so I’ll have them ready to decorate for Valentine’s Day gifts. I’m making several of these little cookie holders and will package the cookies in clear cellophane bags, tie on a pretty ribbon and tuck them in the cookie holder for sharing. Sweet!
If you’d like a larger holder for cookies or treats, this Valentine heart cookie tray is easy to make! Just print on card stock, cut, fold, tape and fill with sweet treats for sharing or use as a recyclable decoration for your Valentine’s Day party table!
This easy to make printable paper basket is great for holding a small gift or candy for a Valentine treat! And they would make fun Valentine’s Day party favors too! Just print on card stock, cut, fold and tape in place. Punch holes in the sides and insert a chenille stem or craft wire handle and you’re done!
Every celebration is sweeter with cupcakes! The easy to make cupcake topper printable will add a sweet touch to your Valentine’s Day party. Or share a plate of cupcakes with friends and co-workers to wish them a sweet day!
