The gift of flowers makes the world a more beautiful place!
And this printable labels and tags project makes it easy to share and display them! I found metal flower buckets for $2 and bought several with gift giving occasions or hostess gifts in mind. I painted them ivory and thought they’d be pretty with an added decorative label. Belles Fleurs, French for beautiful flowers seemed like a perfect fit for the antique rose and lilac images I chose to use on the design.
The labels are available as a printable download at the end of this post and include coordinating tags for a lovely gift. Simply cut out the printed label and glue it onto your container following your product directions. When it is dry, apply a coat of Mod Podge over the label to seal and protect it. Clear acrylic spray is also a choice for a protective coat.
Ink jet prints might benefit from the acrylic spray so the ink doesn’t smear. Either option would be fine if using a laser print.
I decoupaged the square label on the top of a 4″ craft store box to make a small coordinating gift box. I painted the bottom of the box black and left the top natural. The tie on gift tag also can be added to the box with a pretty ribbon. Perfect for a special small gift! I love the combination of stripes and flowers and took this design a step further and created a digital print that fits an 8×10 frame. It’s free for you to download in the flower art category of the Freebies section. Share the joy of beautiful flowers!
The printable is are for personal use only. Print quality will depend on your printer and laser printers will produce the best results in color and detail. Laser printers are available at FedEx Office centers, and your local copy centers and office supply stores.
