One of my favorite things about summer is fresh peaches! There’s nothing as sweet as biting into a juicy peach that has ripened to perfection on the tree. And this easy to make fresh peach jam recipe is one of my favorite ways to use them!
And I’m so lucky to have a friend who graciously shares the delicious peaches he has growing in his back yard. What a treat. Both the fun of picking them straight from the tree and eating them!
I picked several baskets of beautiful, sun-kissed peaches and to show my appreciation I made fresh peach jam to share with him!
I designed a gift tag and recipe card that I included in his gift basket. And I’m sharing the peach jam recipe and printable cards at the end of the post, in hopes that you have fresh peaches to enjoy! I printed my cards and tags on parchment colored card stock, but white would be fine too.
With only 4 ingredients this easy to make peach jam is great for sharing since it makes 6 small mason jam jars. Just peel and chop the peaches, combine ingredients on the stovetop and stir.
And it makes the house smell like peach pie while it’s simmering!
This is a great recipe for using those less than perfect peaches that might be ripening too quickly. And since it’s a refrigerator jam you don’t have to worry about processing the jars. Just store the jam in the refrigerator and use it within a month, which isn’t a problem at my house! It’s delicious on toast for breakfast and over vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Fresh peaches are available now at our farmer’s market and I saw the first local peaches at the grocery store yesterday. I have 2 gallons of ice cream in the freezer so I’m ready!
In celebration of peach season I’ve added this new vintage peach printable that can be framed or used for DIY projects in your kitchen! The design can be downloaded in the Food and Drink category of the free image library.
Enjoy and share the sweet flavors of summer!
